COURSE OVERVIEW
This course is ideal for you if you are new to agriculture or have some basic knowledge. Studying at Brinsbury offers you the opportunity to learn in a stunning environment as you develop your skills and knowledge of livestock, machinery and estate work, all using our college farm.
FURTHER INFORMATION
You will need to have 1 GCSE in either Maths or English at grade C/4.
In addition to your qualification, you will also need to be well motivated and committed to engaging with the roles on our working farm.
Successful completion of this course can lead onto a Level 3 qualification or employment within the landbased sector.
Multiple choice exam in March.
Assessment methods vary between the differing modules, with some assessments taking place as written work in the form of essays, posters and leaflets. Many modules include practical assessments.
A compulsory supplement of £70 is required to help cover sundries and disposable PPE, the students will also receive a Polo top as part of this fee.
