How to access GCSE exam results through the CCG Results Portal
- We will email students in mid-July and again on the Tuesday before results day, providing a link to the site. This email will be sent to your personal AND college email addresses. It will not be copied to parents / carers.
- Just click on the secure link in the email to access the site. You will be prompted to enter your date of birth as an additional verification step.
- If you click on the link before the publication date and time, you will not be able to access your results and will be asked to come back later.
- You are strongly encouraged to click on ‘Download to pdf’ and to save a copy of your results statement somewhere safe, in case you need it for progression to the next stage of your education or employment.
Collecting results in person
If you are collecting results in person, you must bring some form of ID, preferably your College ID card.
If you are unable to attend in person and wish your results to be collected by someone else, please email BrinsburyExams@chichester.ac.uk in advance of the day from your college email address, identifying who will collect on your behalf. We will ask that person to show us some ID to check they are your assigned delegate.
Post-results services
Students are entitled to a range of post-results services such as a clerical check or review of marking. More information about the post-results services available is provided on the College Connect site here: https://collegeconnect.chigroup.ac.uk/. The fees for these services may change as awarding bodies update their charges.
If you wish to appeal a college decision regarding an aspect of your exam results, such as a decision about internal assessment or post-results services, our Examination Appeals Procedure is described in the CCG Exams Policy.
Access to college IT systems
Students who are not returning to college in the Autumn Term won’t be able to access college IT systems after 31 August. If they have resources and documents on their college OneDrive which they want to keep, they must download them before that date.
Exam certificates
The college starts receiving final exam certificates from exam boards from late August (City and Guilds courses) through to mid-November (GCSEs), and we will post these home to students between early September and January. If you are concerned that we do not have your current address, please contact our exams team at BrinsburyExams@chichester.ac.uk.
Please note that:
- any certificates which are returned to sender or which are unclaimed for another reason are retained for one year and then confidentially destroyed;
- awarding organisations are normally able to provide replacement certificates in return for a fee. In some cases, a Certifying Statement of Results is provided rather than a certificate.
