COURSE OVERVIEW
If you’re passionate about horses, this course is perfect for you! Our Level 2 Equine qualification offers an unmissable opportunity to explore and develop a wide range of equine-related skills. You will experience a range of activities, including industry visits, guest speakers and demonstrations. Alongside learning
Completing this course will open up opportunities for further education and a range of employment. The enrichment, along with the variety of units, helps to prepare you for employment within the equine industry.
In addition, you will be offered guidance to train and take the British Horse Society (BHS) exams as Brinsbury Equine Centre is an approved BHS ‘Where To Train’ and exam centre.
FURTHER INFORMATION
You will need to have one GCSE at grade 4 ( C) or above in either maths or English, and some experience of working with horses.
This course can lead to a range of options from working as a groom to progression to level 3. It give you the taste of the equine industry and opportunities for further specialist study.
The qualification will be gained through practical and theory synoptic assessments, multiple choice exams and unit assignments. The qualification will also require the completion of internal and external equine related work experience.
