Equine Level 1 Diploma (Horse Care)
COURSE OVERVIEW
Are you passionate about horses and want a career working with them? This hands-on course is the perfect starting point to gain practical experience working with horses in our industry-standard equine facilities.
Our expert tutors and instructors share your passion for horse care and welfare. They will help you develop the skills you need to progress in your education and career.
There is also an opportunity to visit specialist equine facilities, alongside developing your own equine project.
FURTHER INFORMATION
No previous qualifications are needed, just a keen interest in horses with some experience of handling them.
On successful completion of this course, there is potential to progress to a higher level of training, such as our Level 2 Certificate in Equine Care. You will develop skills in coaching, riding, yard work, and alternative therapies etc.
Assessment is mainly via written assignments (including posters, presentations and projects) and some practical assessments. Other methods of assessment could include short tests.
