COURSE OVERVIEW
Discover the craft behind one of the most essential outdoor tools. Our Bushcraft Knife Making course offers a hands-on introduction to traditional blade-making techniques, perfect for outdoor enthusiasts, makers, and anyone keen to learn a practical, heritage skill.
Guided by experienced instructors, you’;ll design, shape, and finish your own bushcraft knife, learning about steel selection, heat treatment, handle construction, and safe workshop practices along the way. No prior experience is required – just curiosity, creativity, and a willingness to learn.
Set in a supportive college Forge environment, this course blends practical skills with expert guidance, giving you a deeper understanding of craftsmanship and self-reliance.
By the end of the course, you’;ll leave with a handcrafted knife and the confidence to continue developing your skills.
Ideal for beginners and hobbyists alike – make something truly your own.
This course is offered a on three Saturdays across the year.
