COURSE OVERVIEW

GCSE Maths & English: This is compulsory for the course and you will study these subjects alongside your chosen subject.

Horticulture:

This course offers hands-on, practical learning that builds essential horticultural skills through live projects and plant maintenance, making it an ideal starting point for progression into higher-level study or a career into the thriving horticulture industry.

Agriculture:

An introductory course that delivers hands-on, practical learning with a strong focus on our dairy herd and sheep, providing an excellent foundation for learners progressing to post-16 study or a career in agriculture.

Animal Care:

Get hands-on with this exciting course, which brings learning to life through practical experience with a wide range of animals – from domestic favourites to exotic species – making it the perfect launchpad for advancing your studies or stepping into a career in the animal care industry.

Equine:

Build your confidence around horses with this engaging, hands-on course that focuses on developing essential horse care skills, providing the perfect stepping stone to higher-level study or an exciting career working with horses, stables, yards and the equine industry.

FURTHER INFORMATION

As an Elected Home Educated (EHE) student, you need to have been home schooled for more than 6 months to be considered for these courses. You will be required to show proof of being deregistered from school and registered with the local authority.
