Our fields, commercial dairy and livestock sheds will be your classrooms, as you learn about all aspects of farming in the modern world.

The agricultural industry is a vital part of the UK economy, with British farms producing more than 60% of the food eaten in the UK – and you could be a part of this exciting and varied sector. By choosing to study agriculture, you’ll be able to learn about the science, art and business of cultivating crops, raising livestock, operating machinery and managing a farm.

You’ll enjoy practical, hands-on experience on our working farm, which will be supported by learning in our teaching centre with our experienced staff - helping you develop the skills you’ll need for a career that goes beyond the farm gates.

Our Facilities Agriculture

Hands-on Experience

Gain practical, hands-on experience on our working farm, which will be supported by learning in our teaching centre with our experienced staff.

New Equipment

Cultivate crops, raise livestock and operate machinery using the latest equipment. For example, Brinsbury College recently took delivery of a brand new Massey Ferguson tractor, with full GPS guidance.

Safety First

We work closely with the Farm Safety Foundation to ensure you are able to operate safely at the farm – and at your future farms. Our students were the first in the country to experience the charity’s new virtual reality farm safety training.
