MJN Tractors has kindly provided Brinsbury College with two tractors for a fortnight to help support hands-on agricultural education.

The tractors, called New Holland tractors, have been used by the students in ploughing, discing, subsoiling, and power harrowing.

This donation from the local firm will allow the students to try out the latest industry-standard tractors during the ploughing season, giving them valuable knowledge to take into the world of work.

It will be part of the upcoming teaching term, where students will gain hands-on experience in crop cultivation, livestock management, and machinery operation using the latest agricultural technologies.

Christine Bianchin, Principal at Brinsbury College, said:
“We’re incredibly grateful to MJN Tractors for their generous support. Having access to these state-of-the-art New Holland tractors gives our students a fantastic opportunity to develop real-world skills using industry-standard equipment.

It’s partnerships like this that are so important in helping us prepare our learners for successful careers in agriculture.”
