Brinsbury College Closed (Friday 20 June) 

Due to a widespread power cut affecting the Pulborough area, Brinsbury College will be closed to the majority of students today (Friday 20 June).

Contingency plans are in place for exams that are due to take place today – these will go ahead as scheduled. First Steps Nursery is also open.

However, if you are not due to sit an exam or assessment today – lessons will not be going ahead and you are advised not to travel to college.

Students who normally travel using the college bus services, these will be running to return students who are already on their way in to college or who have already arrived.

We are also supporting vulnerable students and making additional arrangements for those students.

We’d like to assure everyone that the power outage is not affecting our animals – back-up generators at our Animal Centre are providing power to ensure our animals are kept healthy and happy.
