Brinsbury College celebrates its Stars of 2023
Brinsbury College marked a host of exceptional achievements at its annual Star Awards ceremony, held in collaboration with Crawley College.
It was a glittering night of celebration, as a around 20 students and members of staff scooped awards at the ‘Stars of 2023’ on Wednesday 1 November at The Capitol Theatre in Horsham, where the college paid tribute to their hard work, determination and accomplishments over the past year.
The first performance, ‘Welcome to the Rock’ by Theatre Inc, brought the ceremony to life, along with a performance of ‘From Now On’ from ‘The Greatest Showman’, which was delivered by performance and production art students from Crawley College, who were joined by students from Chichester College.
Sally Challis-Manning MBE, Principal of Brinsbury and Crawley Colleges, presented the awards alongside Alison Bell, Vice Principal of Brinsbury College, and Dean Wynter, Assistant Principal of Crawley College.
Sally said: “This was an incredible night of celebration, which showcases the brilliance of Brinsbury College.
“We’re extremely proud of our students and our staff, and all of their accomplishments. The dedication, commitment and enthusiasm they have really does shine through in everything they do.
“My congratulations to all of our award winners – and to Kallum McElroy, a very worthy winner of the Brightest Star award.
“Unfortunately Kallum was unable to attend the ceremony, but we were all delighted to celebrate his achievement as Brinsbury’s Brightest Star of 2023!”
