570-Acre Land-Based Campus
Set within 570 acres on the edge of the South Downs National Park, Brinsbury College offers a unique learning environment dedicated to agriculture, animal management, equine, horticulture and environmental studies. Students benefit from hands-on learning in real working environments every day.
Animal Management & Veterinary Facilities
Our purpose-built Animal Management Centre is home to a wide range of species, including reptiles, amphibians, exotic mammals, alpacas, goats, sheep and donkeys. Students gain practical experience in animal care, while specialist veterinary nursing facilities, including consulting rooms and operating theatre spaces, replicate professional practice and help develop industry-relevant skills.
Distinguished Dogs Grooming Parlour
Open to the public, our commercial dog grooming salon gives students valuable experience working with real clients while developing professional grooming, customer service and business skills.
Equine, Agriculture & Countryside Training
Our British Horse Society-approved Equine Centre features extensive stabling and indoor and outdoor all-weather arenas, providing outstanding practical learning opportunities. Across the wider campus, students studying agriculture, forestry, countryside management and environmental subjects develop skills within natural landscapes and real industry settings.
The working farm includes a bespoke agricultural teaching centre, state-of-the-art milking parlour, award-winning dairy herd and advanced farming technologies such as cattle handling systems, body condition cameras, microchip scanners and a realistic tractor simulator.
Innovation & Specialist Facilities
Brinsbury is helping shape the future of land-based industries through pioneering 5G and smart agriculture projects, giving students insight into emerging technologies, automation and data-driven farming practices.
Students also benefit from a well-equipped Library and Learning Resource Centre, alongside a modern forge that combines traditional blacksmithing techniques with contemporary technology, providing specialist training in a unique learning environment.
Civil Engineering Training Centre
Brinsbury College is supporting the development of a new Civil Engineering Training Centre, providing specialist training and industry-relevant skills for careers in infrastructure, construction and engineering. From 2027/28, planned provision includes Groundworker and Highways Maintenance Skilled Operative apprenticeships, alongside Level 1 Construction and Civil Engineering Services and Level 2 Plant Operations (Groundworks) qualifications.
