Open Events Information

Our Open Events are the perfect way to experience life at Brinsbury College and see what makes our countryside campus so special. Explore our working farm, specialist workshops, and animal care facilities, meet our expert tutors, and find out more about the courses that inspire you.

Talks, Workshops & Visits for Schools

Our Student Recruitment team provides a range of activities to help students explore college life and their next steps after Year 11, including:

  • February Taster Days: hands-on sessions that give students a real feel for college courses. These are for students aged 14+.
  • Year 10 Taster Days: hands-on sessions that give students a real feel for college courses.
  • Campus Tours: guided visits to explore our facilities and meet staff.
  • In-School Talks: presentations about post-16 options, college life, and career pathways.
  • Careers Fairs & Events: supporting your school’s careers programme with expert advice.

Application Support

Start your journey by visiting one of our Open Events in autumn or spring to explore your options and meet our tutors.

Once you’ve applied, you’ll be invited to an interview and guided through each next step, from accepting your offer to pre-enrolment in June.

Over the summer, you’ll receive your GCSE results and enrolment details, ready to officially join us in September and begin your next chapter at Brinsbury College.
