Brinsbury College student Alfie Pyle lifts Disability Premier League trophy

A Brinsbury College student has another cricket title to add to his name.
Alfie Pyle was part of the Disability Premier League winning side, representing the England Hawks who beat the England Pirates by eight wickets in the final which was broadcast live on Sky Sports Cricket.
The Disability Premier League is made up of four teams, with players selected from teams who compete across the country in various county championship competitions.
Alfie, who is also a member of the Sussex D40 squad and was called up for the England Learning Disability squad in April, said: “It was amazing. We were all very excited and it felt really good to win.
“It was really hot, but we all really enjoyed it and playing on Sky Sports was brilliant but the main thing was that we won and we came away with a medal.”
The Disability Premier League brings together diverse squads of players, including players from each of the three disability groups: physical disabilities, learning disabilities and deaf/hearing impaired.
