Saddle up for charity equine event

Brinsbury College students are looking forward to hosting an Easter ‘clear round’ show jumping event in aid of charity.
On Thursday 6 April, Level 3 Equine students will be welcoming competitors and guests to the all-day event at the college’s equine centre, with all proceeds raised going the Racehorse Sanctuary in Pulborough.
The students will be hosting five classes, between 60cm and 1m, and an all-day mini course of up to 50cm cross poles.
Alongside raising funds for their chosen charity, the students are also running this event as part of their diploma in Equine Management and to gain more experience in the events industry.
Lecturer Brittany Cotton said: “I am extremely proud of our students and seeing this event come to life is just wonderful.
“Events like these are crucial for not only our student’s development but also to raise funds for the animal sanctuary’s which need that extra bit of support.”
Entry costs £6 for the outdoor arena and £5 for the indoor arena. Entrants must register in advance, contact: brinsburyequineevent@gmail.com
