Be part of Brinsbury’s equine community

26 May 2021

Brinsbury College’s equine department has a fantastic opportunity for horse owners.

The college is looking for loan horses to take up residence in the stables at the campus, based near Pulborough.

Owners can be assured their horses will be well cared for, looked after by a team of qualified staff and supported by dedicated equine students.

They will receive regular exercise, including flatwork, jumping, cross country hacks as well as lunging or ground work.

The site has 24 hour security, and the equine centre is home to indoor and outdoor show arenas.

Anna has been using the stables at Brinsbury for around four years, housing her horse – Billy – onsite during term-time.

She said: “I can’t speak highly enough of my experience with Brinsbury. Billy is well cared for and happy there.

“It’s got all the facilities, and is perfect for riding out at weekends.

“He’s getting regular exercise, grooming and schooling – he loves being there. And he’s got a job as well, as he’s helping to teach the students too. I highly recommend Brinsbury.”

Rachel Speed, Yard Manager at Brinsbury College, added: “Our staff and students are all extremely passionate about horses and we’re proud of our facilities at the equine centre.

“We have some spaces and availability for more loan horses – and we can assure owners their horses will be an important part of our Brinsbury family.

“We take our commitment to their health and well-being seriously, and we give them regular health and wellbeing checks as well as offering an all year turnout.”

The Equine Centre at Brinsbury receives regular license inspections by Horsham District Council,  ensuring all of the horses are healthy and the yard is fit for purpose with the college exceeding many of the standards set by the license.
