Brinsbury students bring Easter joy to Pulborough care home

Students and staff at Brinsbury College have been spreading some Easter joy.
During the last week of term, they were collecting donations of Easter eggs – and all for a good cause. Around 25 chocolate eggs were delivered to Anchorage Care Home in Pulborough, just before Easter, for residents to enjoy.
Lisa Humphries, Director of Student Services and Pastoral Support at the Chichester College Group, said: “Our student executive team were determined to do something special this Easter – and they have been collecting eggs for local organisations.
“Our colleges, including Brinsbury College, are a key part of our local communities and it’s important to us that we give something back to them.
“We hope the residents at Anchorage Care Home enjoy their Easter eggs. It has been a difficult year, so it is great to be able to spread a little bit of happiness where we can.”
Kate, Administrative Manager for Rhymecare, added: “We just wanted to say a huge thank you to the kind team at Brinsbury college for their kind donation of the tasty Easter eggs.
“The residents at The Anchorage were over the moon with this kind gesture. It’s so lovely to have these special connections with our local community. Thank you again.”
