New to Team Leading
COURSE OVERVIEW
The course aims to give delegates an introduction to the basics of being a team leader whilst allowing them to develop their leadership skills and helping them to lead their teams more effectively in the workplace.
Delegates will learn team leading techniques and best practice that they can apply to their work situations.
By the end of the course delegates will be able to:
- Recognise and understand their roles and responsibilities as a team leader.
- Explain the limits of their own authority and accountability.
- Know how they can develop working relationships with their teams.
- Be able to provide leadership and check and allocate work effectively.
- Manage themselves and their own resources.
FURTHER INFORMATION
Newly appointed team leaders, and staff with potential for promotion to the role, or team leaders wishing to refresh their skills.
There are no other formal entry requirements.
We also offer training in all Microsoft Office packages, the main Adobe programs and in other areas of Management & Business. We could also offer further bespoke coaching, team leading and mentoring sessions.
Not applicable for this type of course.
£250.00 – All materials and equipment are provided on the course.
As part of the cost tea/coffee and biscuits are provided mid-morning and mid-afternoon.
